For the rapid reinstatement of localised patches of concrete, Fosroc ANZ's range of Patchroc repair mortars offers a fast-setting solution.
Strong and with excellent abrasion and weather resistance, Patchroc products are ideal for situations where a hardwearing repair is required. Typical applications include concrete pavements, roadways, airport aprons and warehouse floors.
Two products make up the Patchroc range:
- Patchroc C for the reinstatement of localised patches between 25mm and 200mm deep.
- Patchroc GP for the reinstatement of localised patches between 15mm and 75mm deep.
Rapid return to service
The rapid strength gain of both Patchroc C and Patchroc GP minimises downtime, with repaired surfaces able to tolerate vehicle traffic after only 4 hours.
"Patchroc products are the ideal option for areas which can't afford to be out of action for long periods of time," says Hamid Khan, Fosroc ANZ Product Segment Specialist, Repairs and Grouts. "Access ramps and busy gangways for example can be back in service in less than a day."
Straightforward mixing and application
Simple to mix and apply, Patchroc products are a popular choice for applicators.
"As a single component product, there's no need for on-site batching," Hamid explains. "Just add clean water, mix well and you're good to go."
Applied by trowel, Patchroc forms a strong and durable bond with the concrete substrate. Designed to accommodate shrinkage, applicators can deliver a hard-wearing result every time.
"Shrinkage compensation ensures long-term dimensional stability, which minimises cracking and is important for long-term durability," says Andrew/Hamid.
